This doesn't feel like cotton. It feels like... I don't know, soft plastic? It's weird. Not a fan, unfortunately. It's sad because I eyed this for two years before buying.
This is a beautiful hand made piece. I washed it in the washer and let it air dry. It has retained its size and shape. Well worth the price for such a nice piece.
